I’m Haley, a full time nurse practitioner with an in office, M-F 8-5 job. I discovered a love for travel around a decade ago and prior to that had essentially never left the southeast United States. Since then, I’ve been maximizing holidays, vacation days, and long weekends and my adventures have taken me to 49 states and 33 countries— all while balancing my full-time office job and family life. I usually travel with my wonderful husband Steve, but many trips are solo or with great travel buddies.

Nearly all my trips involve hiking, whether hiking trails or urban hiking cities (hence the name Haley Hall Hikes). I tend to focus on capturing beautiful moments—both the iconic and the offbeat. I especially love chasing sunrises, even when it means waking up early and hiking with headlamps!

Over the years, I’ve been making recommendation lists for friends and family, and with Steve’s encouragement, we compiled all my notes and photography into this blog. I’ve included links to AllTrails hikes, accommodations and other sites I’ve found helpful.

I might not hit every “must-see” attraction, but through traveling, I love discovering the beauty that surrounds us. Welcome to my world, as seen through my lens— may my journey inspire yours!
